Our History: Lollipops Children’s Shop was founded by Chris and Dennis Coletta with dreams of offering the Capital District designer children’s goods in a friendly, customer-oriented environment.

Inspired by their two young daughters, the Colettas opened the doors to Lollipops Children’s Shop in July 1988. Since then, they have invited customers to browse and purchase their handpicked inventory, and have provided personalized customer service and built what in many cases, have become lifelong friendships.

23 years later, Lollipops Children’s Shop continues to proudly serve its customers, offering specialty products from hundreds of designers and friendly assistance.

About Us: Lollipops Children’s Shop is not simply a specialty children’s apparel and goods store, it is an experience. We recognize and appreciate the expectations our customers have for us and the products we offer. After all, what parent-to-be, grandmother or best friend isn’t looking for that special something that will put a smile on the face of that special little one? Our mission at Lollipops Children’s Shop is to serve you, our customers, and provide you with the finest products and quality service that will leave you satisfied and coming back again and again. Our “wall of fame,” a collection of pictures of our little shoppers from over two decades, is proudly and prominently displayed in our store as a testament to the years of service we have provided to our customers and the lasting relationships we have built.

No matter what brings you in – a new baby, birthday, special occasion or that last-minute gift- we will be happy to assist you in making your shopping experience an enjoyable one. Some of the services we offer include layaway, special order and complimentary gift wrapping.

We offer apparel, baby goods and gifts from hundreds of lines including Angel Dear, Corky & Company, Hartstrings, Kissy Kissy, Le Top, Little Mass, Sarah Louise, Trumpette, Robeez, Us Angels, UGG australia, ERGO baby, GUND, and Melissa & Doug. And new for Fall 2011, we are excited to introduce The Frye Company to our collection of designers sold at Lollipops Children’s Shop.

While we do not currently offer online shopping, we are always happy to take your calls or emails regarding special orders, in-stock inventory or any other questions you may have. If you would like to purchase an item we carry, but cannot make it to the store, we will gladly place your order over the phone and ship it to you, via UPS (standard shipping rates apply).
